A capsule fashion collection comprising of seven looks, mainly using deadstock fabrics and trims, each drawing inspiration from different eras in Libya's rich history that often go unnoticed or unacknowledged. By referencing various points in time, encompassing the influence of diverse groups such as the Amazigh (Berber), Greeks, Romans, Spaniards, Ottomans, and political eras from the Libyan kingdom to Gaddafi's reign and the post-Arab Spring, Ruaa highlights the multilayered tapestry of Libyan heritage. Collaborating with a creative team predominantly of North African heritage for the editorial shoot, Elmansuri sought to amplify the significance of a North African heritage loot case and shed light on its importance.
